Auditions for this year’s school show “Back to the 80s” took place on the 6th December, with roles to be announced asap! As usual, the show will be performed in June.

Well done to S1 on their successful completion of their Sponsored Silence in Social Subjects. With some money still to be collected, so far over £280 has been raised for SCIAF. All pupils did very well and can be proud of their efforts!

Kyle Brotherton competes in the London Marathon

STEM Big Bang Event

20 pupils from S3 were involved in a joint venture with Port Glasgow High School to participate in the STEM Big Bang event hosted by Clydebank West Coast college .

Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)

This initiative, sponsored by the Wood Foundation, featured S3 pupils working in groups to identify and research a social issue. Pupils then identified a charity which supports this issue and presented to their peers about the charity.

Supported Study Residential Weekend

42 St Stephen's High School pupils from S4 -6 headed off to New Lanark to take part in a residential study weekend that was a huge success! The young people who experienced this unique opportunity have been a huge credit to our school and conducted themselves with a great level of responsibility and maturity.

Those involved in S3 Social Subjects are working on the "What Scotland Means To Me" film project organised by the Scottish Youth Film Festival in conjunction with the National Library of Scotland's Moving Image Archive.
